Delivery and Returns

At Redber we only roast to order. We try to roast and dispatch your coffee the same day as your order so that you can enjoy the freshest coffee. We roast six days a week, Monday to Saturday and we dispatch from Monday to Friday. We try to clear all of our orders by 16:00 each day, but we ask you to allow an extra day as contingency in case of a roasting backlog.

We now provide free delivery for orders from £40*:

  • 2 to 3 day delivery aim - tracked
  • or you can upgrade to a 1 to 2 day delivery aim - tracked for £5.00 (please note that delivery companies do not guarantee delivery in one day) 

For orders under £40 the options are:

  • 2 to 3 day delivery aim - large letter, not tracked for £1.90
  • 2 to 3 day delivery aim - tracked for £3.95
  • 1 to 2 day delivery aim - tracked for £4.95 (please note that delivery companies do not guarantee delivery in one day)

    * Delivery exceptions
    * Free delivery applies to Mainland UK only.
    * The costs for delivery to Northern Ireland and Scottish Highlands and Islands are £5 for 5kg and under and £15.99 for 5kg to 30kg.
    * Delivery cannot be made to PO Boxes.
    * Delivery prices include VAT.

      For anything above 100kg please contact us for a quote. If your order is heavy or large you may have to pay additional delivery charges. In such a case we will contact you before we ship your order.

      Delivery is subject to external circumstances such as occasional delays and errors. No delivery provider is faultless, and there is no vendor or delivery provider anywhere that can guarantee certain next day delivery. Timely delivery is out of our control once your order has been dispatched and we cannot be held accountable for late delivery.

      Damaged or Incorrect Orders

      If your order is damaged or incorrect we will offer a replacement or a refund. You should report damaged or incorrect goods to us within 24 hours of receiving the delivery so that we can try to resolve the issue. You should inspect any goods prior to signing for delivery. If there is any visible damage whatsoever you should immediately advise the delivery service. If inspection is not possible you should sign for goods ‘unexamined’ which will allow us to lodge a claim with the delivery service. We advise sending a photograph of any damaged goods. This will enable us to deal with your issue quickly. 

      Right To Cancel

      You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days from receipt of the goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, 2013. You will incur the carriage charge for return of the goods. Refunds are subject to the provided goods being in perfect condition, unused and complete in their unopened original packaging. Please allow 14 working days for this process. Delivery charges cannot be refunded. To return any items, please email us at contact@redber.co.uk or call us on 01483 80 85 80, quoting your order number as reference. Your order number can be found in both your email order confirmation and the packing sheet usually included with your goods. The goods should then be returned by an agreed delivery method.

      Your right to return or cancel goods does not apply to: goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; OR which are made to your specification; OR which are sealed for hygiene or health protection purposes (and have been unsealed after you receive them); OR for services, once these have been completed, even if the cancellation period is still running. When we sell our coffee products, we promise that all of our coffee is roasted to order and is therefore fresh and never stored, and we customise your coffee according to your preferred brew method. As such, some of the products that you buy from us, by definition, may not allow you to exercise a right to cancel. This does not affect your statutory rights if the products are faulty or not as described.

      Refunds

      We will endeavour to deal with any refunds in a prompt manner. We will issue refunds to the debit/credit card used to place the order.

       

       

      Description

      The AeroPress is a revolutionary coffee maker that brews excellent coffee quickly and with ease every time. Whether it is at home, in the office, on a camping trip or at a hotel, the AeroPress enables you to make smooth and rich coffee.

      The AeroPress coffee maker is a great value for money, it is simple to operate and it makes a perfect gift for a novice or a coffee aficionado. 

      How to use an AeroPress Coffee Maker?

      1. Place the AeroPress coffee maker on a flat surface, such as a table or a counter.

      2. Place an AeroPress paper filter in the bottom of the AeroPress filter cap and screw the cap onto the bottom of the AeroPress chamber.

      3. Measure out the correct amount of filter ground coffee for the number of servings you want to make and pour the ground coffee into the AeroPress chamber.

      4. Heat up the water to around 95° Celsius and pour it over the grounds in the AeroPress chamber.

      5. Secure the plunger to the top of the AeroPress chamber.

      6. Gently press the plunger down - this should take about 30 seconds.

      7. Remove the plunger and discard the used paper filter.

      Not a Review but a ? and statement

      Do you ship to the United States?
      No offense to your coffee, but I cannot drink bitter coffee (anymore), it upsets my stomach. But here's the coffee I can drink and it does not upset my stomach. If you have a coffee that has very little or no bitterness how much is the price, and can you ship to the United States?
      The coffee I can drink has absolutely no bitterness.

      Handy little coffee press

      Bought one of these years ago for my son but he never used it, he said it was a faff. I recently decided to try it but we're missing a part. The new part was nearly half the price of the whole thing while it's on offer, so I got us a new one.

      I found it's not a faff at all, it's very quick and easy. Cleaning is easy too, the used coffee tends to fall out in one piece when it's cold, I remove any remaining coffee with a nylon pastry brush and give it a quick rinse.

      The coffee it makes is delicious, works best with a fine grind. We've been using it to make iced coffees and my Son is using it now too.

      Easy and delicious

      I was fed up with the rubbish instant coffee in hotels. I also carted a French press and electric grinder to a holiday let and suffered second rate coffee. I thought I’d give this a try. I was prepared to be disappointed as so often reviews can get a little excitable. Ha, was I wrong. It makes a delightful, low bitterness coffee which is full of taste. I’d been on to YouTube and found an easy recipe- medium/coarse grind, add water, stir, put in the plunger and suck back a bit. Allow to sit for a minute. Push the plunger slowly (apparently pushing quickly increases the bitterness) and serve. I am very pleased and this will take over from my pour over machine for one or two mugs. I also bought a Chestnut grinder and the review is elsewhere.

      Not exactly as it said on the box

      I chose to order from Redber as I couldn’t find an AeroPress Coffee Maker anywhere else that said the box included the very handy filter holder. I assumed that these were no longer included but that Redber had some old stock still. The box arrived - very quickly - but there was no filter holder inside. It would be helpful if you amended your narrative for this item, as it’s misleading.
