Grown in the São Paulo region at altitudes between 800 and 1,200 metres above sea level, these speciality grade Arabica beans are naturally processed, allowing the sweetness of the coffee cherry to develop fully and carry through into the cup.
Varieties including Bourbon, Typica and Mundo Novo help create a balanced, easy-drinking coffee with smooth body and classic nutty chocolate character.

A nice, dark roast. Some padding, or 'this side up' would be handy though. I sliced the bag all the way down, not expecting it to be flush with the sellotope on the box!

A really great low-acidity coffee with excellent body, a smooth initial taste, and a pleasant, lingering aftertaste.
It works beautifully as an espresso, or my personal favourite a double espresso with a dash of hot water and a high-quality olive oil.

We like the dark roast style beans and Redber's Santos has never failed to deliver. The beans are never over roasted in our experience and give the intensity we enjoy. There are other smoother coffees available but this suits our tastebuds perfectly. The service is always prompt and has never let us down.
This has everything I’m looking for. Intense enough without tasting burnt. Has all the tasting notes described. Arrives fresh and consistent each time. Seems forgiving to sub optimal extractions when the barista is half asleep. Recommend

I bought these after I saw an advert by Redber for this coffee. I read the reviews and it sounded like a really nice coffee ( I'm getting my head around trying new ones, lol ). It is a superb tasting coffee ( bean to cup) and will definitely be on my ' to buy again list' highly recommended. Great service from Redber too. 5*
Pleased that the 500 g bags are sealable. So decided to order 1kilo bags. But disappointed they were not sealable.
We absolutely love the Brazil Santos and were so happy to find a local family run business that supply this. The pick up collection is so easy and I really enjoy a read through their latest magazine which they leave with the coffee too. I think we need to switch to subscription now!

I have a monthly delivery of fresh roasted and ground coffee. I am always notified when it is due to be delivered, and even the postman loves the smell and keeps it in his van until the last delivery 😁

I was looking for a nice dark roast bean with a nice nutty flavour. This bean is perfect for me. It’s a really good way to start my day.
I buy Santos a lot, its a versatile bean and I like the flavour profile which suits lots of different styles of coffee. This last batch of dark roast was truly dreadful though, extremely bitter regardless of the strength and very inconsistent in extraction, worse than supermarket coffee. A very rare fail from Redber.
