What Makes Brazil Yellow Catuai Special?
This coffee is grown at Fazenda Rio Verde, part of the renowned Ipanema Coffee estate in Brazil's Serra da Mantiqueira mountains. The combination of fertile soils, warm days and cool nights creates ideal conditions for producing naturally sweet, well-balanced coffees.
The Yellow Catuai variety is prized for its sweetness, consistency and smooth character. After harvesting, the coffee is processed using the pulped natural method, where some of the fruit remains on the bean during drying. This enhances body and sweetness while producing the smooth caramel and roasted nut flavours that Brazilian coffees are known for.
The result is an approachable, easy-drinking coffee with a creamy texture and excellent balance.
Who Will Enjoy Brazil Yellow Catuai?
This coffee is ideal for coffee lovers who enjoy smooth, chocolate and caramel-led coffees with gentle sweetness rather than bright fruit flavours. Its creamy body and balanced profile make it particularly suitable for filter coffee drinkers.
