Colombia Finca Sofia - Medium-Dark Roast

Smooth but I would otherwise rate the taste as good rather than excellent. I may buy this again, but it does not replace my favourite two coffee types.

I have an issue with the delivery though. Since my previous purchase (I have been a customer for about 5 years now), Redber have changed from Royal Mail to Amazon delivery services.

As usual with Amazon, the parcel was delivered on another day to the one they notified me they would deliver, the parcel was left outside my door despite the fact that I was doing some painting in the hall, just 3 feet from the door....there was no attempt to knock and finally, the carton in which the 3kg of coffee was packed was badly crushed and the corner torn open. It was just luck that the contents were not damaged and spilled out.

I am not impressed.

Great on its own or why not blend it with a dark roast to give yourself a bit of variety.

My go to every morning

I think we have bought Colombia finca before but revisiting it was great! We make a filter pot for breakfast and this coffee really hit the spot. In fact I have made a calendar note to buy again. Five stars!

I really like this coffee. A little less oomph than my usual coffee, but I’ve really enjoyed each cup. Will buy again.

Great range of coffees. We have our go to blends (Cafés Francais and Italiano), but like to try a single origin as well.

This time it was Finca Sofia from Colombia. It promises a ‘rich and sweet’ aroma, and a ‘buttery and smooth’ body featuring banoffee. It didn’t disappoint.

Agaui another favourite from the Americas

Coffee was good as usual but the ‘free gift’ not included with the delivery. I complained and received a rather cursory dismissal from someone supposedly giving service. I shall now look for other more customer focussed suppliers.

I bought these beans to grind on my Sage Pro. I use grind setting 50 for a Filter coffee drink. I have also used this for a pour over using setting 48.

I find this to be a great natural balanced coffee with no bitterness. The liquid is easy drinking with a light taste. I am keen to move away from heavy body, strong tasting coffee. I am gradually softening my urge to buy a dark roast for more lighter roasts. The Caffeine remains stronger with lighter blends which is great and provides a fresher taste. I enjoy drinking a few cups of black filter style which a darker roasts at time needs a cup of water to stop dry mouth. I have found i no longer need water with this coffee to clean the pallet after drinking. I will buy these beans again but now i am on a hunt for a few other "go-to" beans before settling.

So the Colombia Finca Sofia from redber has been my favourite all time blend. Its rich mouthfeel combined with notes of banoffee make it a real winner for either espresso (my choice) or milk based drinks

Absolutely knock out. We tried 3 different coffees and repeat bought this one...we sniff it before bed and in the morning! Looking forward to trying some more of your amazing coffee!

This coffee has a really nice balanced flavour - not too strong and not too weak. Can be consumed any time.

I can't fault the coffee! Well packaged and it's reasonably priced. However, this one is not for my taste. I think I prefer darker roasts so It's not the fault of the coffee really. I used it with my Delonghi ECAM 250 and I'm still getting used to that so it may be that some settings weren't dialed in right although I tried different grind settings etc. I'd definitely recommend REDBER as their coffee is amazing!

Same as last month simply fantastic

After trying different types of coffee beans we settled with this one. Mild and creamy. A longtime favourite.

I ordered 1kg of the Finca, medium dark a while ago and it was delicious. The second time I ordered (3kg of m/dark) it came way darker and to be totally frank, tastes nothing like the previous order. This leads me to question whether it's actually the same stuff. That level of inconsistency is very disappointing.

Enjoy this coffee! Great flavour and lingering after taste.

Nice evening coffee

Less intense profile than the other America’s beans, suttle indeed however very enjoyable. My second favourite in the taster pack to Catuai. Will order again after I’ve sampled more.
