Delivery and Returns

At Redber we only roast to order. We try to roast and dispatch your coffee the same dayย as your order so that you can enjoy the freshest coffee. We roastย six days a week, Monday to Saturday and we dispatch from Monday to Friday.ย We tryย to clear all of our orders by 16:00ย each day, but we ask you to allow an extra day as contingency in case of a roasting backlog.

We now provide free delivery for ordersย from ยฃ40*:

  • 2 to 3 day delivery aim - tracked
  • or you can upgrade to a 1 to 2 day delivery aim - tracked for ยฃ5.00ย (please note thatย delivery companies do not guarantee delivery inย oneย day)ย 

For orders under ยฃ40ย theย options are:

  • 2 to 3 day delivery aim - tracked for ยฃ3.95
  • 1 to 2 day delivery aim - tracked for ยฃ4.95 (please note that delivery companies do not guarantee delivery inย oneย day)

    * Delivery exceptions
    *ย Freeย delivery applies to Mainland UK only.
    * Theย costs for delivery to Northern Ireland and Scottish Highlands and Islandsย are ยฃ5 for 5kg and under and ยฃ15.99 for 5kg to 30kg.

Noย delivery provider is faultless, and there is no vendor or deliveryย provider anywhere that can guarantee certain next day delivery. Timely deliveryย is out ofย our control once your order has been dispatchedย and we cannot be held accountable for late delivery.

      Damaged or Incorrect Orders

      If your order is damaged or incorrect we will offer a replacement or a refund.ย You should report damagedย or incorrect goods to us within 24 hours of receiving the delivery so that we can try to resolve the issue. You should inspect any goods prior to signing for delivery. If there is any visible damage whatsoever you should immediately adviseย the delivery service. If inspection is not possible you should sign for goods โ€˜unexaminedโ€™ which will allow us to lodge a claim withย the delivery service.ย We advise sending a photograph ofย any damaged goods. This will enable us to deal with your issue quickly.ย 

      Right To Cancel

      You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days from receipt of the goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, 2013. You will incur the carriage charge for return of the goods. Refunds are subject to the provided goods being in perfect condition, unused and complete in their unopened original packaging. Please allow 14 working days for this process. Delivery charges cannot be refunded. To return any items, please email us at contact@redber.co.uk or call us on 01483 80 85 80, quotingย your order number as reference.ย Your orderย number can be found in both your email order confirmation and the packing sheet usually included with your goods. Theย goods should then be returned by an agreed delivery method.

      Your right to return or cancelย goods does not apply to: goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; OR which are made to your specification; ORย which are sealed for hygiene or health protection purposes (and have been unsealed after you receive them); OR for services, once these have been completed, even if the cancellation period is still running. When we sell our coffee products, we promise that all of our coffee is roasted to order and is therefore fresh and never stored, and we customise your coffee according to your preferred brew method. As such, some of the products that you buy from us, by definition, may not allow you to exercise a right to cancel. This does not affect your statutory rights if the products are faulty or not as described.

      Refunds

      We will endeavour to deal with any refunds in a prompt manner. We will issue refunds to the debit/credit card used to place the order.

      Description

      This bright and fragrant single-origin Earl Grey is grown close to the Virunga National Park and has won an award at the Great Taste Awards, all while having a Rainforest Alliance Certification.

      Birchallโ€™sย Virunga Earl Grey is a scented pure origin tea, sourced from the finest tea gardens in Rwanda, found close to the countryโ€™s border with the Democratic Republic of Congo and theย Virunga National Park. In this region, the tea bushes grow slowly, at the high altitude and relatively low temperatures, developing greater flavour before they are individually picked.

      Birchallโ€™sย pursuit of quality ensures that all their leaves are only ever hand plucked. The leaf, bud and tender stem are carefully pinched together in a โ€˜perfect pickโ€™ and subsequently blended with a traditional bergamot oil to give a distinctive flavour of citrus, with spicy floral notes.
